I have a guess as to who the 5th Cylon is, but I'll just keep it to myself and say later if I was right or not.

That said, I'm really, really getting psyched for this.

It is almost time! I can't wait! Hopefully the final Cylon will be revealed tonight. Either way, I am just glad NUBSG is back on.

The article in TV Guide confirmed that we learn who the Final Cylon is tonight.

I have no idea what fucking happened, but it was damn good anyway. Good thing I have it on DVR so I can watch it again.

Re: Battlestar Galactica 4x11: "Sometimes a Great Notion"

That was an easy 'excellent'.

This was the mythology episode I've been waiting for. I loved what we got concerning Earth and I especially loved the little glimpses into Earth as it was before the holocaust through the eyes of the "final five".

What does it mean to be a cylon? That year-old question has taken on a new meaning tonight and I can't wait to see where this goes.

I also can't wait to find out what exactly is up with Starbuck.

My only complaint about the episode is that Bill Adama's antics seemed a bit over the top. It's a minor thing though.

This episode raises so many more questions than it answers, but it's fantastic. Those incredible "WTF?" questions are what keeps me coming back to this show. The wait for next week is going to be agonizing.

I don't think they were ever trying to imply that Starbuck was the final Cylon. She's something else entirely.

I also don't necessarily believe that it's Ellen. This wouldn't be the first time Tigh has hallucinated.

Re: Battlestar Galactica 4x11: "Sometimes a Great Notion"

By the way, did Adama imply that some 13th colony survivors left Earth after their holocaust and might be somewhere else? I didn't fully get what he said in that part of his announcement.

Re: Battlestar Galactica 4x11: "Sometimes a Great Notion"

I give this an "Excellent"

I have a theory

What if the final 5 were saved from the holocaust on Earth by some new type of prototype technology, a "ressurection" technology, afterall in Tigh's vision Ellen did say they would be "re born." So what if the final 5 were reborn, and went off into space and laid the ground work for developing a new race of Cylons. Remember, to the colonials the skin job Cylons came out of no where, there were centurions, then out of the blue human form Cylons. Maybe the final 5 constructed these human forms.

It still doesn't explain what Kara is though.

I think he was making an analogy between the fleet and the 13 tribes that left kobol and finding a new beginning.
