Made my order. Thanks for the nudge -- and it is a LOT cheaper direct from the publisher.

Can't wait to read it.

I was going to blind buy it, but $999.99 seems a tiny bit excessive for shipping.

But I've added the first two volumes to my Amazon wish list. Someone else can pay for that shipping for me.

Yep. Once I registered and entered my address, it offered me the choice of international air mail or courier, the former being around $5. I assume that cost would be a bit lower for anyone in the USA.

Their e-sales storefront has a really funky way of precalculating postage: it defaults to $999.99 if you don't enter your ZIP code. I put in my ZIP, and it went down to something like $3.50 for a 2-book order.

Re: Thrilling Wonder Stories Focuses on Trek Writers

Just got my copy in the mail, and a fine looking book it is. Bob Eggleton's retro-style cover is really eye-catching, and there are a few items I'm really looking forward to reading (I've read a few of the classic reprint stories elsewhere).

It may not technically be a Star Trek book, but it's going on my website anyway...

^ You're a scholar and a gentleman, Steve. Thanks for the support.

I agree that the cover is quite snazzy. I received my contributor's copies a couple of days ago, and I'm quite happy with how the volume turned out.
