Aussies:No Panel Xmas Wrap This Year

Not content with collapsing their onscreen job from forty weeks per year into one night per year, Working Dog won't even be doing their annual "Christmas Wrap" for 2008.

I am a little pissed because I look forward to it on Christmas night. It shits me that smug Sitch and the rest pulled the plug on "The Panel" proper(their best comedy after "The Late Show")to do only one show per year and now can't even be bothered doing that. I watch "The Hollowmen" a few months back and while it was good, it was certainly not as funny or clever as they thought it was.

Anyway, this news sucks.

Edited to add: Just read on wikipedia that this year's Xmas Wrap was cancelled because of their commitment to working "The Hollowmen". Now I am even angrier. We lose a great night of entertainment because of THAT?!?
