Shatner's 'Boston Legal' Ends
As reported by USA Today, Crane, Poole & Schmidt finds itself in dire straits in the two-hour finale of Boston Legal and the firm may be forced to find a buyer. And Shatner's Denny Crane is not doing so well either, as his Alzheimer's has rapidly progressed and the only hope is a non-FDA approved drug that could slow down the process. After five seasons, Boston Legal comes to an end tonight. The show garnered five Emmys and a Golden Globe during its run. Shatner collected one of those Emmys in 2004 for "Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series," and the Golden Globe one in the same year for "Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series Made for Television." Meanwhile, according to Journalnow.com, Shatner received a positive review for his new talk show, Raw Nerve. "Shatner, a.k.a. Denny Crane, Capt. James T. Kirk, T.J. Hooker, commercial pitchman and camp spoken-word recording artist, brings unexpected enthusiasm to the task of debriefing C-list celebrities...In taking on this interviewer role, Shatner joins the ranks of empathetic, smart and curious talkers who do well in the format." Re: Shatner's 'Boston Legal' Ends
Great, great fucking show. And Crane is Shatner's best role ever.

Re: Shatner's 'Boston Legal' Ends
He was excellent in this roll. I give Shat a hard time about the way he whines about Trek but he did an outstanding job as DC and the final episode was great.
