McDevitt's Academy series
I'm 4/6 the way through Jack McDevitt's Academy series of novels (Engines of God, Deepsix, Chindi, Omega, Odyssey, Cauldron) and am enjoying them very much. I've noticed the same characters and the same starships turn up repeatedly throughout the series. For the most part it doesn't really matter to the stories that the Al Jahani is the same ship that transported Collingdale in Omega and then showed up in Odyssey to look for the missing Ranger, but it's bugging me that I can't keep track. Does anyone know of a website that chronicles this stuff? Maybe has a timeline, so when I forget how many years passed between Chindi and Deepsix, I can look it up somewhere? Google has failed me. I suppose we can use the thread to talk about the series too.
