Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game

Has anyone seen or played this yet?

http://new.fantasyflightgames.com/ed...ar%20Galactica

http://en.battlestarwiki.org/wiki/Ba...The_Board_Game

It sounds intriguing. I'd like to pick it up.

I hope to stumble across it in a toy store, rather than order it from the internet.

Has anyone seen it on a shelf anywhere?

EDIT: Here's a great little video commercial for the game: http://new.fantasyflightgames.com/ff...BSG_WebLRG.mov

I saw it at Midtown Comics tonight, very oddly placed on the bottom shelf under a bunch of TV and movie action figures. It was a bit too big for where it was.

Clunkiness aside, it's got Katee on the box. That makes me happy.

The Somthing To Do at the Oxmoor Mall in St. Matthews, KY had them for $40.

The Cylon team wins if the any of the resources run out, Galactica is destroyed, or if a boarding party can "vent the oxygen to space" from the battlestar and kill the crew.
Ah... fun the whole family can play.

Any family that watches BSG will do just fine.

It's even more fun if you have a friend who's lost his wife

"How's the wife?"

*Guy throws board in the air and grabs your throat*

now that would be real BSG game

* I need an online board game. It´s hard have friends reunite for hours playing.

Outstanding game. It captures the feel of the series perfectly and I love the cooperative nature of the game... plus the fact that one player is a Cylon secretly working against everyone else.

Re: Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game

I want to play it, but with a 2 year old running around, that's likely not possible for a few years! LOL
