Hey, a neat little update was done recently that lets you update your officer's uniforms to any one that you yourself are wearing. I now have my entire team in the TWOK-TUC uniforms.

How do you do that? I didn't see any button or something for it in the uniform-modding store.

Just did the new mission "State of Q". He reveals the identity of this ancient threat that seems to be pulling everyone's strings (and is responsible for the destruction of Romulus).

Does anyone know if you get access to the Admiral uniform design when your character makes admiral?

Must... resist... SPOILER!!!!

In fact the appearance of Q is a spoiler in and on by itself by the way. Thanks for that!

And by quoting you I just revealed the spoiler myself! DAMMIT!

And now for something completely different:

I was thinking with the TrekBBS Armada growing larger everyday it would be fun to start an off-shoot within the Klingon faction.

Is anybody already playing Klingons?

We could stage our own PVP missions, organised by our fleet founders who will issue the mission briefing in-game and here with date and location.

I`ve alreay got a few ideas for that I`m playing around with in my head.
I`ll get back to you as soon as I`ve got something solid.

Your input is welcome, too.

I have a Klingon character but haven't played him much (Lt. 6). I'm focusing on my Starfleet character.

How do I progress with the plot?

I'm side tracked on all of the side quests...

Press 'L' to bring up your log. Click on the Episodes tab. Find the Episode you want on the list.

Re: Star Trek: Online

I just played my first PvP battle... Wow... what a totally different game play! "Real" Klingons are actual using tactics instead of just firing away... we kept waiting in the Arena several minutes before they showed themselfs... they tried to pick us of one by one quickly, when they finally targeted me I managed to resist through skill use but then my shields fell in like 5 seconds and I went boom.

Gave them a good run for the money and won though.

Sticking together works wonder. That`s Starfleet power!

The only downside is that there aren't enough Klingons. Lots of Feds, few Klingon players in the game. That said, yeah I did my first PvP the other day. I was decimated in a matter of seconds. It ended up being 3 Klingon Escort ships to my little Lt. Commander cruiser.

I can understand what you mean. I think I've done nothing but side quests for a week. I've only done one or two actual plot-related missions.

Still fun!

Question: Is this game one where you take turns, as in Away Team? Or is it constant game play like elite force?

Re: Star Trek: Online

It's everything. You can join in on away teams or lead your own. You can fight in fleet battles or solo, accept missions, explore various star systems, there's lots of stuff to do. The gameplay itself is collaborative. Everyone plays at the same time, there are no "turns". So if you and your team beam down to a planet's surface, all of you have freedom of movement.

Klingons are better at PVP because they lack content so concentrate on this aspect of the game instead of playing episodes. They learn all the tricks, tactics and spawn points etc. You'll notice there players are usually more coordinated and likely to work well in groups then Fed.

Thanks J. I'm definitely considering getting it now...
