MU: Shards and Shadows BC Text and new cover

For anyone who is interested Simon & Shchuster added the backcover description, and a new cover to their page for Shards and Shadows. Just in case you're wondering, the old cover had Shran where T'Pol is now. Link

I don't know about anybody else, but I've been looking forward to this book since it was supposed to come out earlier this year. I'm especially curious about the Vanguard and Titan stories.

No problem. I check S&S's page a few times a week, and I've found that it's actually a pretty good place to find this stuff.

EDIT: Could one of the other Memory Beta editors on here please change the cover on there for me next chance they get. I was trying to do it myself, but it's changed since the last time I added a picture and I was having my technical difficulties.

Re: MU: Shards and Shadows BC Text and new cover

It has been changed and a reference made to the earlier cover.

I didn't change it, I uploaded the image then Memory Beta went down for a few minutes. When I went back to try again the changes had already been made. So thanks to whoever did it.

^ Since these informations are on the official site and therefore aimed at the final customer and not in one of those infamous catalogs for retailers I guess they are pretty much correct.

The new cover's great, but I rather liked the idea of a Shran cover... I wonder if he's still in the story inside?

Is Rudy Josephs a newcomer to Treklit or have I missed something by him previously?

If new, let me be the first to say welcome to Treklit and may yours years be fruitful.

Somewhat inexplicably, there would seem to be a group of people that find Jolene Blalock more attractive than Jeffrey Combs...

I assume it was changed because a) T'Pol is a regular main-credits character, Shran is not, and b) there was no women on the cover before.

There was a very good reason for the change, but I'm not at liberty to say what it is. But the T'Pol cover is the new one and the one that will be on the book, yes.

And I gotta say once again, looking at that cover and having re-watched "In a Mirror, Darkly" again for the MU timeline I put together for the magazine, that Jolene Blalock looks so much better!!!!!! with the long hair....
