I want to see Kevin McKidd in the role. Great actor, great screen presence.

In Alex Ross' Marvels, Stark is drawn to resemble Timothy Dalton.

Funny, since he has to be the ugliest guy ever to play Bond.
AGREED!!

Also, sign me up for the Karl Urban crowd *purr*

EDIT re: Tony as Cruise: glad I wasn't the only one that noticed that also. But Granov's Stark is WAY hotter than Tom Cruise.

Let's face it, one man was born for the role:

Of course, we could always beg the Technoviking, but us lowly mortals dare not, lest he smite us in a fit of rage.

I agree there are many Wrestlers who could have the perfect physique
the problem is 99% of Wrestlers got the acting skills of a pile of squirrel vomit

Clancy Brown might have been a contender if the movie was made 10 years ago.
Thor : I'm thinking the acting intensity of Kiefer Sutherland but the strong physique of the big germanic dude from the movie Gladiator

He looks more like Fandral The Dashing in that picture.

That's a beautiful picture of Sarah Jessica Parker. Don't you have any pictures of real horses? For shame!

Maybe Craig should consider it since he fears that the Bond movie series may be on hold due to economic reasons.

Re: Daniel Craig offered the part of Thor

Have any of you actually read Craig's reasons for not taking the role? Not that I want him in the role, so lucky me, but his reason is ridiculous:

He figures taking on two action roles is egotistical.

Seriously, if he's so worried about being egotistical, maybe instead of turning down the role, he should take it, and then take every dime he makes off of the project and give it away to charity. While he's at it, maybe he should take half of what he's made till now and give that away as well.

Cruise was linked to the role for a few years in the late 90s or so. Before then, Nicholas Cage was rumoured for about a fortnight to be playing him. This was even before the Superman Lives days.
