Re: USS Aventine

Very nice.

Does the Aventine have the dual deflector dish like the Nova- and Intrepid-classes?

With my take on her I decided to go that route.

I like that idea, that the new generation of starships all--or nearly all--have the dual deflectors.

Agreed, I can barely even draw a stick figure. By hand at least, I've never really had a chance to try with computers.

I am really loving it! It is what I pictured when I was reading Mere Mortals.

Hmmmm. Not keen on that design, Sean, to be honest. It just seems like someone's grabbed the Enterprise E from both ends and squashed her a little bit. I'd guess the Aventine would have the sleekness of the Sovereign Class - which this doesn't have.

Re: USS Aventine

This is just on take, I will more than likely Finish up on my other sketches as well.
Also remeber this is in no way an official design. I am still doing this just for fun.

Well, I sketched my own version of the Aventine and Sean asked me to post it in here as well, so here you guys go

http://img296.imageshack.us/img296/9...ntinebmaj9.png

I'll probably be making a version entirely of my own as well, as I have some different ideas on how a slipstream generator is integrated into a federation ship...

Hi Borgman.

Nice image, and I'm glad it's apart of a site that hosts your own images per the board rules. However, while there isn't a specific rule about wide images, I'm going to edit your post to make it a link instead because it is so wide and makes the thread difficult to navigate and read.

Thanks.

What it should be is a very shiny sphere-ish thing. Shiny to reflect phasers...

And a sphere with guns allllll around it to fire everywhere at once.

All ships should be like this... wait, no, scratch that... just mine!
