Are you there God? It's me, Dean Winchester

Wasn't that the title of a Venture Brothers episode(minus the Winchester)? It just gave me a laugh when I saw it as the title for tonight's Supernatural.

Take away the "Winchester" and you are right.

I told my girlfriend about it and she thought it was the title of a children's book. I'm hoping that the joke is based on their love of the Venture Brothers though.

It's not referencing The Venture Brothers.

They're both referencing Are You There God? It's Me Margaret by Judy Blume. Your girlfriend was right.

So the book is about a girl praying? I don't recall the commercials. What can we expect from the episode?

I'm sure the connection stops with the funny title.

I think it obviously connects to the revelation at the end of last week's ep, with Dean finding out more info regarding his (insert choir music) Benefactor.

Tonight's ep is getting as good as, if not better, advance reviews than last week's premiere. It's supposedly extremely emotionally hard hitting. Sounds good to me. I can't wait. Supernatural really outdid Heroes with its premiere eppy. Having a smaller, more self contained cast is beneficial in the extreme.

Dude, quoting a typo is naughty. All fixed now. And Supernatural's premiere was better. Castiel beats Maya as a cast addition any day.

It means Castiel is hot and Maya's a dumbass.

Dean's getting tormented by apparitions of people he failed to save.

I had kind of gathered that, but I don't know who Maya is. I assume she's a new cast addition on Heroes, but I don't watch it.

Oh. I didn't realize you didn't watch. Maya, basically, is the useless new eye candy on Heroes who's there to have sex with the East Indian scientist. Very pretty. Terrible actress. She displayed nice side boob in the premiere. Let's just say she's not been as well received by the fans as Misha Collins has been as Castiel.

Heroes really needs a smaller cast.

A mostly different one, too.

And new writers.

Supernatural has really grown on me. Can't wait to see how this season plays out.

I do find it really difficult to believe, though, that there are people who speak English in the world that know nothing about Judy Blume.
