Definitely the whole sombrero phenomenon. My favorite internet experience so far.

And by the way, isn't your poll missing the "So I've been wondering, ..." joke?

I voted Sombreros.

Although I was very disappointed to see that "Excellent moderating team committed to the continuation of hi-jinx, tom-foolery, and monkeyshines" did not make the list.

Well, I can't be expected to remember everything, but I apologize for neglecting the fine moderator team, whose approval allows us to keep up with these shenanigans.

Seconded. PKTrekGirl, M', Akiraprise and Work412, you do a great job! Thanks for that. [/bootlick]

I was tempted to go with Sombreros, but instead picked "THE WOMEN!" since that is actually associated with Star Trek (not that I ever cared about that before when posting on this forum).

Plus, that brings back fond memories from the 1970s of my brothers and me watching The Menagerie and getting a good belly laugh from the "Shouting Spock", especially that particular scene. We must have gone around for days yelling "THE WOMEN" in random situations. It was our little in-joke; other people probably thought we were nuts.

Me too.
Walking that line between too much spam and fun has not been easy.
Which, I suppose, is a compliment of sorts to all of the unique posters we have in this forum. [/bootlick]

Sombreros for me. Never before has a type of headwear captured the imaginations of the world the way the sombrero has.
