Just bumping this one up. I accidentally made another thread just like this one but without the poll. Please use this thread.

Re: Your 3 Favorite nuBSG Episodes

Wow. My first thought, upon looking at the episode list was how few episodes the series has. That's it???

EDIT: I cheated and picked four. 33, Pegasus, Maelstrom and Crossroads Pt II.

Shoot, if I was going to cheat, why didn't I chose KLG, Exodus Pt II, Hand of God, Guess What's Coming to Dinner...

Really hard, as I love them all, and so many are just that damned good, but there you go...

My least two fav would be Black Market and The Woman King, but still like 'em.

No idea what the episode names mean, sorry. Never pay any attention to the names of eps. Never have, which is always highly amusing in Trek 'best episode' polls.

Well, I think one of the things to remember that it's only four seasons in total AND season 1 only had 13 eps in total. You could up the count slightly by counting the Mini Series as 3 or 4. But that wouldn't really change it that much, would it? :-D.

I know them relatively well by now. Though I must say I find it harder to tell them apart than with Trek, for example, since it's an on-going story.

What's really scary when I think back is that I knew all DS9 episode titles (all 176) from memory some years ago. Oh well, I was young...

Oh, I know that. It's just...weird...to see them all listed like that. The show has been on the air so long now (five years?) that it feels like a comprehensive list of episodes should be longer than something one can take in at a glance.

I settled on "Kobol's Last Gleaming, part 2", "Exodus, part 2" and "Revelations" but it's really hard for me to neglect other favorites like "33", "Hand of God", "Pegasus", "Downloaded", "Crossroads, part 2".

Really hard to whittle it down to only three. I love the miniseries but I won't include that as its not really an "episode"
So in the end I'd have to go for Pegasus, Exodus, and Crossroads
I kinda think of the latter two as one episode each, but for clarity's sake I voted for Part 2 of each

"Colonial Day" will always be a favorite of mine, even if it isn't quite as popular around here. I loved the focus on the political world.

"Occupation/Precipice" remains a fantastic 90 minutes. Easy choice.

"Crossroads II" wins in the end. It throws so many balls up into the air in a fantastic way. Love the closing montage to "All Along the Watchtower."

Thats a hard choice... I went with Kobol's Last Gleaming 2, Pegasus, and Crossroads 2... but I strugged to eliminate 33, Guess What's Coming to Dinner, Exodus 2, Faith, Resistance, Hand of God, Water, Revelations, Occupation/Precipice..... you get the idea.

One thing I noticed going over that list though, is while I think Season 4 so far as a whole has been BSG's best, there aren't really and single episodes I would call hug favorites... its the season as a whole thats awesome, but any one episode is only a small part of that and doesnt hold much distinction.

Too many good choices. I think I needed it to be top 10.
