Christian Bale as Rorschach? I dunno... he's not ugly-looking enough to be Walter Kovacs. Is it too obvious to suggest Steve Buscemi?

Day 174. Still down here. The oddest thing just happened. A dwarf skeleton wearing a chain just fell past, in a nearby shaft. For some reason I expect to see a halfling come down next.

Bale is a great character actor, and I was leaning more towards "American Psycho Christian Bale" rather than "Batman Christian Bale" here.

Besides, a few years ago Jude Law expressed interest in playing Rorshach in a Watchmen film as did "James Bond" Daniel Craig.

Waaaaay back when my friends and I first read Watchmen in the late 80's, we thought Arnie Schwartzenegger would be perfect for Dr. Manhatten.

Also, we thought that the guy who played the Scorpio Killer in Dirty Harry, whose real name we didn't know at the time, would be perfect for Rorschack. Years later, Andrew Robinson's portrayal of Garak on DS9 convinced me that we were on to something. Of course, they're both too old now, but back in the day...

Rorschach...Simon Pegg
The Comedian...Jeffrey Dean Morgan
Hollis Mason...Adam West
Moloch...Leonard Nimoy
Ozymandias...Jude Law

I'm flexible with everyone else. JDM's casting is perfect.
