Ah, "Breaking the Ice" on Sci Fi.

T'Pol is not impressed with the case Trip makes for pecan pie...

...or with his apology. The beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Despite some of the irksome cliched things in this episode, it still qualifies as one of my favorites of the series, simply because it actually shows the beginning of trust between TnT.

Breaking the ice is one of my favorite shows. I really like the scenes with Trip & T'Pol in her quarters and their conversation. That shows the beginning of their friendship was well done.I wonder what the script notes would show the thoughts of Trip & T'Pol were in those scenes theroughout the show.

And I loved the end scene where T'Pol is almost meditating over her piece of 'pe-can pie!'

That cracks me up too. The scene I really love is the one in her quarters too. There is something about the energy the actors bring to it that I love. Most of the dialogue is good too.

And I'll add my congrats here too, HopefulRomantic!

Re: TnT: If The Ship is A Rockin'...Don't Come Knockin'!

andorian incident gave us a discussion of idic while yes breaking the ice is one of the best trip/ tpol epsisodes plus more insights that the vulcans now are not the vulcans we see later.
ie these vulcans have given up exploration for the sake of exploration for curiosity.

considering later revlations a little retconn might say the romulans had a hand in this.

I really like Breaking The Ice. It's one of those S1 episodes I watch over and over again. JB and CT had great energy in it, the details--like T'Pol's piece of pecan pie--are a great touch, and it is definitely the beginning of TnT's friendship.

On a different note, congrats HR!

Congratulations Hopeful Romantic. I also like Civlization when it comes to the non verbal scene with trip & T'Pol in the shuttlepod.

Thought I'd post this up for rai75: Trip/T'Polers Shipper's Guide. It has most if not all the 'shipper stuff I can think of in it, so anyone who wants to know about TnT more should be able to get a pretty good feel of what it's about.

Hey, this thread is gettin' downright cobwebby! Any Trip/T'Polers left around here?

Which episode was on Sci-Fi today?..."Desert Crossing." Not heavy on the T/T, but there was Trip, in all his gorgeousness...

...and T'Pol in command.

I'm still around...

I have to say too, that as time goes on, her shorter hair in the first couple of seasons has actually kinda grown on me a little. Still hate the catsuit though.
