Did anyone understand Laura Linney's comment about a community organizer?
Didn't get that prune comment either?

Again, Recount...not a good movie. Bernard and Doris...an okay movie. But the networks have to get back into the miniseries or movie business. HBO can't have the categories to themselves.

I think it was a reference to McCain being a prune (old) and having a prune (Bush) in office for the last 8 years. I think.

I really need to see John Adams.

Also, I want to see someone jog up to the stage.

That was just mean. Guy seemed to be half intelligent, too, which makes it even worse. Assholes.

Did Linney mention a prune or someone else? I didn't even hear that.

I don't think Linney mentioned anything about a prune. It's Colbert and Stewart having a bit of fun, based on the Hannity and Colmes joke. Still, could've done without it.

I imagine someone with a McCain/Palin avatar knows perfectly well what the community organizer comment is about (as well as Colbert's prune comments).

Laura Dern should win because she was terrifying in that film.

I venture to say Laura Dern was the most compelling person in Recount. She put an enormous amount of bile into Katherine Harris.
