Another good episode.

I'm very surprised for a Sci-Fi board this show dosen't have a bigger following here.

An OK episode of The Walter Bishop Show, er, Fringe. Felt a bit over familiar to one who's watched too much TV. I don't think the homing pigeons were as quirky fun as likely intended.

Did anyone notice the bald guy aka...the observer walk out of the elevator before the fall..... and I want to look back at the other episodes to see if he shows up now too

I did. The lady and I made gleeful noises and turned to each other with "did you see that?" looks when he walked out of the elevator.

I saw it too. I guess that is going to be something to look for from now on.

Overall, I would say it was an average episode. The only interesting thing was the whole Olivia/John mystery.

Hmmm... usually we're a couple pages long on show night. Now that it's a success, everyone here has stopped watching?

This was one of the better episodes. But I really wish Walter didn't have a direct connection to EVERYTHING.

Mark Valley's really got it made for collecting a paycheck on this show. This is the most he's done since the pilot. I wonder when they'll reveal his character's still alive to the rest of the cast.

Such pigeon prejudice...for shame, Astrid, for shame.

This one felt even more like an X-Files knock-off than usual due to the "loser with powers" angle. In terms of keeping me interested, that's not really a good thing.

The Observer was in the elevator?!?! I did not see that!

Well after the last intriguing episode about the Observer, I found this one to be a return to the boring monotony of before. Walter and son are funny as always, but aside from that it's hard to get into this show.

My main problem is with our lead character; I just find her completely bland and uninteresting. She just drags down every scene she's in. Aside from Walter and son every character on this show is a lifeless stand-in (though Astrid has the occaisonal smart line). I think this show would have worked much better if it starred just Walter and son and the boring FBI agents were relegated to a supporting expositional role (the way Lance Reddick is).

Actually, we see The Observer leaving the elevator just as the electricity guy enters with the chick he's been secretly watching. It's very quick, but he's not hard to miss.

It's taken me a while, but now I'm really starting to get into the show. While the Fringe Science of the week was only pretty good, I thought this one added some interesting stuff to the story arc with John's consciousness giving her clues to what is going on. I'm just wondering if it's actually left over stuff from when she connected to his mind like Walter said, or if perhaps she's actually still connected to him.
EDIT: I voted above average.

WAS that him? I thought at first that was him, then I thought no, couldn't be.

Now I've got to rewind the tape and watch that scene again.

I voted Average. This feels like a weak X-Files redux--and I wasn't even a big X-Files fan. It was another "monster of the week" type episode. I'm intrigued by that shady tech company, but they didn't show up this week. I like the mad scientist guy, and the cast is good overall, but I've watched four episodes now and haven't been able to get into the show.
