Well since I can't vote for boy bands, here goes:

Huey Lewis and the News
Spice Girls
Vanilla Ice
Michael Bolton
Foghat - Only because I hate their name

Pearl Jam (Eddie Vedder's voice makes my brain bleed.)
Phish (The Dead's pathetic, clingy little brothers)
Dave Matthews Band (Nice guys, good weed, shit music)
New Kids on the Block (I know, but I really, really hated them.)

Can't think of any more, I don't pay enough attention to music I hate to remember names. These were impossible to avoid...

For the love of Benji, Nickelback, I don't care if it's the obvious choice!
Madonna
Puff Diddy, or whatever the hell he wants to call himself, in fact the entire 'bling r&b/rap' genre, fuck it pisses me off more than just about anything! Possibly more than Nickelback!
That dude with the dreadlocks who sang that "Mr Jones" song in the 90s.
Metallica, overrated, boring crap.
Most any boy band with the exception of Take That!

Green Day (old Green Day...new Green Day is a little bit better)
Pfft ... silly Stoney ... the old Green day is much better than the new stuff

This song reminds me of that old vs new debate

There are bands I hate. Not sure erasing will do anything.

Rock and Roll without Elvis or the Beatles? What in the world would that be like?

Blech, my son's new favorite. Besides every song sounding the same being screamed at the top of the guy's lungs, the one with "DIE -- BANANAS" really gets on my nerves.

Rush - I have a pretty open mind when it comes to music and I could never for the life get into their music. Honest to god I sat down and listened to their stuff and I hated it.

Oasis - Fucking arrogant pricks think they're the second coming of the Beatles plus the Gallagher brothers' completely unprofessional behavior during the 90's completely turned me off. *blegh*

Rolling Stones - Please retire for real, really. The last album that you released that was any good came out a decade before I was born.

Hootie and the Blowfish - This is shit. In the dictionary below that word is a picture of this band. I only wanna be away from you.

Limp Bizkit - Rap rock ugh. *vomit*

I must say I'm surprised by some of the choices. Some of them are my favorite bands ever. Actually seeing The Clash up there made me wince, it was that shocking but I'll still respect all of you in the morning.

The Beatles.

Then I'd claim to have written all their songs and become a beelionaire! Bwahaha!

Okay, seriously, how about Erasure. Bleagh!

And John Mayer. Sure, girls like sensitive guys, but you are way overdoing it, dude.

And ABBA. That's my gift to humanity.

Which ones would you pick? And try to make these lists interesting, i.e., not completely obvious choices that everyone hates anyway like Creed, Nickelback, or some Boiband, but bands that you hate and a lot of people like.

1. Bob Marley

2. The Who

3. The Eagles

4. Nirvana

5. Red Hot Chili Peppers
Yeah, but if you were to delete some highly influential band like the who, you'd inevitably be deleting a ton of bands you like that were at the very least indirectly influenced by them.
So I'm going to break the rules and list bands that haven't influenced anyone worthwhile.

Nickelback
Creed
Hinder
The All American Rejects
Collective Soul

1. Kings of Leon - talentless assclowns is a rather mild description when referring to these people.

2. Deep Purple - Can't stand any of their music.

3. U2 - Ditto.

4. Nickleback - Them winning a grammy earlier this year proved that the awards are a sham. Puerile, unimaginative and infantile music, all rolled into one.

5. Pussycat dolls - Like the rest of hip hop artists, complete trash for complete morons. I wouldn't mind if the entire genre was erased from history.

I think my heart just exploded.

I think if this thread goes on much longer we'll end up erasing every musician from history. That'd be interesting.

I will however add my voice to the Aerosmith haters. Maybe if we keep saying it they WILL Walk This Way... off a cliff.
