I'd probably say Rachel was less annoying than Ross overall.

Though really, they were clearly on a break...

I know she was probably the most insane of all of them, but I really liked Phoebe. It's great to watch Friends on occasion on syndication. I missed most of it when it was on, but it's a funny show.

Joey was more normal, he was just a hedonist. A bit dumb, too, but that's how most people are IMHO.

What? One night now makes 'on a break'? He could wait ten minutes?

Ross was a better character the first couple seasons, but as the show went on, he became one of the worst characters.

The only time I liked Ross was when they all watched the video of how he ended up getting Rachel pregnant. She was trying to convince everyone that she came on to him but the video proved otherwise.

It was quite a momentous occasion for American TV - for the first time ever a male sitcom character got to be right in an argument with a woman.

Ross has always been my favorite, though Chandler is nearly tied for that spot. I think that Ross and Chandler were the most "normal," if you could call it that.

The only ones who annoy me are Phoebe and Joey.

No. At that point, Rachel hadn't gotten annoying - well, maybe a little, but if you have to make a list of pros and cons between me and another girl, I'd be a little put off, too.

And, they'd only 'broken up' that afternoon.

They may have been on a break but that doesn't negate the exclamation "He couldn't wait ten minutes?"

Rachel was annoying from day one. Not only did everyone copy her haircut, but they copied her "I'm too pretty to know anything!" attitude to life.
