ok, Kara/Supergirl needs to be on Smallville, plus Laura Vandervoort is oh so very hot! Thoughts?

No. Laura needs to find a job where she won't be dumped after a season since they ran out of money. The Smallville producers can always be counted on to screw up after they have a good thing going.

Also what's with the capitalized and spaced out name of Supergirl?

Kara needs to eat a cookie, and even then, she's still not hot. I didn't like her as an actress either. Although Goodness i own SO many Supergirl comics it's just not funny which has bugger all to do with how ultimately desirable Helen Slater is and was as Lara and kara respectively when it's all got more to do with this Portly Jewish Bloke.

Laura Vandervoort was partially released because she wanted to pursue other projects according to one of the latest releases (despite it being the D2DVD Into the Blue 2); however, they had interviews with her during the upfronts and she was visibly surprised to find out that she was no longer on the cast list for the final season.

There are no guarantees that the character is going to be revisited either. She may be eternally locked in the Phatom Zone in the Smallville Universe.

While I wouldn't mind her coming back (as I gotten accustomed to her character by season's end), I'm not going to be overly missing her.

I say that now...lets see how the season progresses.

I hardly follow any Smallville news. Haven't seen more than 3-4 episodes from the last two seasons.
Didn't realize Kara wasn't returning...till now.

I have no idea.I'd like to get in the shower and find out...

But one should wonder about this for every woman, celebrity or not. Some look good, some look bad without make and almost all use it.

Definitely.

I liked her in the first 2 episodes where she was this angry little bitch hell bents on ripping earth and everything on it in two to rescue that baby her cousin... Then the next week she's compeeting in Miss Kansas Cornhole beauty pageant in a bathing suit.

Kansas is frakking landlocked.

The "my father programmed me to kill Jor-el and Kal-el" is also from later in the run of Loeb's Supergirl which Loeb had to drop prematurely and suffered from directionless as the title was traded like clean underwear in prison.
