I think the Chuck Norris meme has been around long enough to just die already.

I'm with TGWG, I don't get how Norris got to this level to have such a massive meme. I mean, what was his most notworthy contribution to entertainment? "Walker, Texas Ranger"? Was this mem started by 85 year old women who watch too much USA Network?

Nah it was sealed while the Ranger was on CBS. But happened much ealier. Being the biggest star in retrospeck to fall to Bruce Lee in a stage fight. To having the best known Vietnam MIA show, Rambo was just another Rambo movie and the best of the genre Uncommon Valor didn't hit.

Add in the relatively serious Code of Silence and the goofy fun as another Ranger on Lone Wolf McQuade. Mix with haveing the most violent show on American TV and there you go.

That video was funny.

Even more funny was the fact that they misspelled "written" in their credits.

It actually started with Vin Diesel. Then someone copied it with Chuck Norris and after that it took off. I don't know how or why it took off so immensely. Though if I did I'd sell the secret to the advertising agencies for big money.
