Urban Would Love To Play McCoy Again
As reported by TrekWeb, taken from an article in SFX magazine, Urban would have no problem with doing a sequel if Star Trek XI does well enough to warrant one. "I would clearly love to carry on with that cast," said Urban. "We had such a wonderful time shooting, we were constantly cracking up. But it's too early to speculate. We really have everything going for us." Urban feels that the time is right for the return of the original characters, whose backstories will be explored in Star Trek XI. "It's the perfect time to bring it back and show these characters in their early years and get a bit of a backstory." A fan of the original series, Urban had an advantage when it came to researching his part, in spite of not having DeForest Kelley available for guidance or assistance. "I had grown up with these characters," he said. "I was very familiar with the fabric of their relationship." To read more, head to the article located here. |
