if trek had a parade who would be the grand marshall?
what kind of floats would there be.
would there be marching bands.

There clearly needs to be an IDIC float for Vulcan, a bat'leth float for Qo'noS, and a Tear of the Prophets float for Bajor.

Definitely a patriotic float--I say they'd honor Tret Akleen, father of the Cardassian Union.

Though you MIGHT get something else post-Dominion War...IF you got an entry at all.

Parades are not logical.

Tellarites wouldn't participate because they'd still be arguing about the theme of the float when the parade ended.
Andorians wouldn't participate because they'd be too busy beating up Archer.
Orions would participate. They'd stop their float in front of the grandstand and auction off a bunch of slaves.

Quark would sell tickets, but Ferengi balloons would be disallowed do to a fear of what might occur if the wind should happen to catch those huge Ferengi ears on their balloons.

Can't be a hot air balloon. They are using the Stewie-dressed-as-Kirk balloon for that. Although maybe Shatner could poetically sing the National Anthem.
Vulcans would be there. Just watch Amok Time... the Vulcans have a rich history complete with solemn processions.
