All of the teams mentioned so far are inferior to my Jaguars.

We shall see about that! Texans fan here!

But, in all seriousness, I see you guys and the Colts fighting it out for 1st and 2nd place in our division, and the Titans and Texans trying to keep out of 4th place. Both the Jaguars and Texans improved in the off season, Colts remain powerfull, I don't think a whole lot of the Titans off season. But you never can tell. There is a lot of football to be played between now and January.
I think the Texans will be in a solid third. I could see Jacksonville splitting both the Indy and Houston series and sweeping the Titans, while Indy sweeps both of them, leaving Indy the winners and Jax with a wild card spot. But the Titans will be crap so long as they cling to Vince Young - he's the most overrated starting QB in the NFL.

really i am not saying a lot till i go to camp.

but it is going to be interesting to see if dinger can get through to vince.
lets just say dinger has a lot more well dynamic personality then chow.

at times last year vince was his own worst enemy besides being hurt most of the season.
he really let himself get down and distracted by the family turmoil swirling around him.

Anybody here a Redskins fan? Apparently their top draft pick was taken off the field at practice today, with a pulled hamstring. Man ... seems as if these gusy can'[t catch a break.

Yeah, I kinda agree. Especially considering his attitude. I know he's a talented player and all, but you have to be careful what kind of personality you introduce to the locker room.
But didn't Shockey play for Payton when the latter was coaching in New York? That may be as much of a factor as anything else.

I believe that that was certainly a factor in this trade, and he might have a better attitude under Payton than Coughlin.

Of topic a bit, but are we going to split NCAA and NFL discussion this year?

I mentioned in my first post that I think we should. No need to really merge them anymore now that we have our own forum.

Agreed. Two separate threads would be good.

I was asking someone at the Seahawks FO if they would consider some sort of friendly series against the BC Lions, once BC Place gets renovated in a few years - and they said that NFL teams, as a rule, don't play off-season matches.

Is this the case across the league?

Oh, and any word on how the Seahawks are looking so far?

Well, they're inferior to both the Cardinals (despite those two infuriating last-play wins in 2007 that cost the Redbirds a playoff spot) and Seahawks, so I think 8-8 is quite optimistic. You should probably hope for 6-10.
If I knew you personally, that wouldn't be a bad bet.
If you were looking to contribute to the JM1776 Foundation, it'd be a great one.

Hello Neroon,

Life-Long REDSKIN FAN here!
Looks like it's going to be another tough year.
As long as we beat America's Team, I'm a happy fan.
Would be nice to make a run in the playoffs though.
