Part 2 is up. More good songs, nothing quite as funny though.

Not as funny, but the plot definitely thickens!

The line about the "Hammer" was cute, though.

This is great. I can't wait for part three. Maybe if this sells well (and presuming Act III doesn't prohibit it, we can get some more)

According to an article on USAToday.com. There's thinking of Broadway or a film.

Finally managed to watch Act I (and, lucky me, Act II right afterward). Absolute brilliance, as I was expecting. All three leads are fantastic, and the songs are great. Bring on Act III!

You know, it’s funny. I thought nothing could beat Act One for humour, power, and acting.

I should have known I’d be wrong.

Review-type stuff at the blog.

I love this...it REEKS of "Once More With Feeling" in some ways, but that's a scent that only smells sweet.

Fillion really seems to have "beefed up" quite a bit. Is it muscle or just weight gain?

re: Part II, started a bit slow but soon picked up. The final song was awesome!

Lots of good lines too
"Goodness look at my wrist, I gotta go!"
"You look horribly familiar"
"...the hammer is my penis"

ps. I want that Captain Hammer T-shirt

Re: Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along blog

Act Two's humor felt a little less subtle, not quite as overt, to me, but this whole thing is progressing quite nicely. Fillion's performance of Hammer's uneasiness in the soup kitchen was one of the two comedic highlights of this act, I thought; the other one being Horrible's replay of the LAPD/Hammer ambush and the loss of his freeze ray. The move into more serious territory was fitting as Dr Horrible continues his quest to join the Evil League of Evil, particularly as he feels Penny slipping further and further from his reach. So far this is one fantastic new project and I really hope it proves successful enough to result in similar future projects, especially any follow-ups to this specific one. I'd love to see these characters again, assuming that's an option once Act Three wraps.

But since assassination is now his only option for getting into the Evil League of Evil, WHO will he assassinate, and how?

^I thought it was kind of implied that he was going after Captain Hammer.

Of course now that you mention that, I could be wrong... THAT would be interesting.
