'Shatner's Raw Nerve' To Debut

Shatner's Raw Nerve, a new show billed as a "celebrity interview series" and hosted by William Shatner, will debut in August.

As reported by The Futon Critic, Shatner's Raw Nerve will begin airing on Tuesday, August 19 at 10 P.M. on the Biography Channel.

The half-hour show, hosted by Shatner, will "capture America's most intriguing people at their most unexpected." In each episode, Shatner will attempt to touch upon a "raw nerve" of his guest, probing for both fascinating and sensitive subjects and hoping for the unexpected. Shatner will "work his magic on each guest in his own unique way."

Guests scheduled to appear are Leonard Nimoy, who is supposed to be among one of the first guests to appear on Shatner's Raw Nerve. Other guests who will appear are John Voight, Jimmy Kimmel, Judge Judy, Jenna Jameson, Kelsey Grammer, Valerie Bertinelli, and others to be named.

Thirteen episodes of the show have been ordered. Shatner's Raw Nerve is produced by Scott Sternberg Productions with Scott Sternberg as executive producer.
