Well jumping from 65% to 73% at this point in the voting is pretty unheard of. However, this will probably be the strongest year of GBOWs for a while, so 73% might not be good enough for Jolie to make the cut.

Out Of My Vulcan Mind, as of right now, the 14th highest-rated GBOW is at 73%. Jolie is 13th at 74%. Predicting there are two future GBOWs who will be guaranteed to make the field (though there's one of them I personally wouldn't take over next week's GBOW), as well as a couple wild cards who will probably surprise, all the GBOWs could have a 75% or higher rating. This will probably be the strongest field ever.

The week X-Files come sout the Genre Babe better damn-well be Gillian Anderson. And, frankly, I think she'll be another landslide.

I can't believe people are actually giving her thumbs down.

Someone above put it nicely, something about her having the lips of a blowfish and the body of Jar-Jar binks. Which I think sums it up well.

"Dressed down" she's not too bad but, again, for me she's got too many negatives against her that takes her from an UP to a SIDEWAYS. Fish Lips, Skanky, nasty, Tats, bony body and, I dunno, her head looks like an alien or something.

Year one Jessica Biel and year two Claudia Black were the final seeds, both with 69%. For year one, Diane Lane and Dina Meyer both had slightly higher scores than Biel, but I had my 100-vote minimum rule in place (plus since it was only half a season, the playoffs started at the Elite Eight). Last year the top 16 were all well over 100 votes each.

For this year, I'll keep the 100-vote minimum rule, but anyone with less than 100 votes needs a 75% minimum approval rating to advance -- so Ryder, Moynahan and Vaugier are all in... unless, of course, 75% is simply not good enough to make the final cut when everything's said and done.

I fully expect two future GBOWs to get extremely high approval ratings, and there are a couple wild cards with the potential to surprise me like what happened with Zooey Deschanel. There will also be a GBOW that might make some (older) voters feel like pedophiles, but Hayden Panettiere passed with flying colors last year, so who knows?

And as bad as Hackers is (it's a very silly and unrealistic movie, which is one reason I like it), Angelina is one of the few perks.

Well I think this is a GBOW first. Usually after a certain number of votes, the approval rating will pretty much stay where it's at because the following voters will tend to fall in line with the majority. However, Jolie's jumped 10%.
