Neither have I.

It's difficult, though, to hang around places like this for several years and never have run across a picture of the shirt or reference to "Vote for Pedro" even once. It's long been an internet meme all by itself.

Observe.

You should see the film. It's a good 'un.

Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?

Should we lobby for Scotty to appear wearing a "Vote for Pedro" shirt while in his quarters? With a Sombrero visible in the corner of the room?

Make it so.

I think Keenser should be the one with the sombrero.

Vote for Pedro T. Kirk.

And all your wildest and most scientifically implausible dreams will come true.

Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?

I just entered the Super 8 sweepstakes in which the prize is a walk on role in the new Trek movie. If I win, I pledge to wear a sombrero.

Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?

I'm going to have to enter that SUPER 8 contest myself. Great movie.

If *I* win, I pledge not only to wear a sombrero in the film...but I won't grab onto all the green Orion girl yobbos I see.

I'll grab...and LATCH myself on like a lamprey.

Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?

Why would that not surprise me cooleddie?

Then we'll see an article on TrekToday

"Long time Blue Warp Nacelles poster ejected from Star Trek filming after winning walk on role."

- The username known as cooleddie74 was removed from the set today after latching on like a lampry to one of the Orion actresses. When offered nachos, Sombreros and even a signed Robau photo, he would not release. So they had to forcibly eject Mr. Cooleddie74 and the Orion actress he was latched onto.

The happy couple is now honeymooning in Tijuana."

Oh yeah... can totally see that.

Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?

Nah.

Now seriously... if anyone from this thread wins that contest, someone MUST present JJ Abrams with a sombreo and a print of the Sombreroprise.

I'm so happy to see that even though I've been away from this forum for months that it's still alive in some way.
