I've posted on this thread quite a bit in the past, but then some time ago I had web hosting issues. Most of the images I posted here were deleted, I let some domain names lapse, and I never uploaded the images again. But if anyone is still interested, I've restored my Sombreros of the Line web pages at http://www.carperesrei.com/stuff/sombrerosoftheline/
The absence of those pages and images did not go unnoticed, and I think there are at least few people around who will be pleased to note that they've returned (and also that you have not, as some were worrying, dropped completely off the face of the planet.)
Carpe, M is correct! We HAVE missed you and your pics!!!! I'm so glad you're back and that the pics are up again. Dude, you've just made my day!

Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?

Thanks everybody. However, just to be clear, I created the web pages, but many of the individual images are from other contributors to this thread. I certainly don't want to take credit for the amazing work of others. Sombreros of the Line was originally meant as a repository for the best of Blue Warp Nacelles, back in those heady days when the sombreros were coming fast and furious and I actually had a sombrerosoftheline.com domain.

Also, there are some hidden links to extra content, easter eggs I guess.

So, of the five villians rumored to face off with the Sombreroprize in Sombrero Trek 12, which do you want to see?

Senor El Mudd
Semidiós Gary Mitchell
El Hacendado de Gothos Trelane
El Talosians telepįtico
or
Horta la criatura del silicón

Gawd, these are great! But the Horta really kills me!

ETA: Mudd in a sombrero is like...perfect.

Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?

if it's Mitchell, should his eyes glow golden like in the original, or maybe they should be glowing fluorescent blue, or maybe even one blue and one pink...

^If it is Mitchell, then lens flares should be shooting out of his eyes. Plus, he should wear a sombrero just 'cause.

John': Don't forget that Trelane is retired!

nuJohn: But he's wearing a sombrero in the picture, so obviously that does not apply!
