Hm. Seems Photobucket removed Pedobear in a sombrero. I must be a bad person.
I can still see it here. I thought if Photobucket removed it, it would be unavailable to see here.
It had already been removed when I looked at the thread yesterday. If you're seeing the image today, it's most likely because it's still resident in your browser's cache from the last time you visited the thread.

Ah, that makes sense. I shall have to check my Firefox settings. It should clear each time I close the browser.

[EDIT: I just closed Firefox after clearing History. Then ran CCleaner, restarted Firefox and signed back into TrekBBS. The picture is still there. What else should I do to clear it- and any other crap built up over time? Thanks.
p.s.- I also located and cleared browser cache, to no effect.]

Why are you trying to get rid of the picture?

You'll make Pedobear sad.

Oh, wait...

If you cleared your cache (in Firefox, Tools > Options > Advanced > Network) and you're now seeing anything other than a place-holder image like this in Australis' post, then I'm not sure what to suggest.

I *disabled* my browser's cache and I still see Pedobear.

I suppose I could edit out the URL. Is the image actually offensive? I have no way of telling, because I can't... you know... see it.

What i am seeing is a bear that kind of looks like a fox that has a sombrero on. Nothing obscene about it. Or am i seeing something different than the rest of you?

Nope. That's our beloved little Pedobear!

I was more interested in making sure my cache, etc. was clearing properly. I have no interest in said bear, especially since it has nothing to do with Star Trek or this thread.

I think Pedobear is hilarious, I have no problem with the little guy. Leave him be.

Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?

Pedobear is a little creepy considering what he represents...but he's still far more funny than he is offensive...at least to MOST people on these boards. Leave him be.

Google him.

I know that sounds nasty...but believe me...NOT as warped as his origins.
