Glad you like it - and yes, it was a good idea - but I don't like how I did the sombreros. They look totally fake! Ah, well.

I love this thread. AND that poster. I'm asking both to marry me in a polygamist scenario.

Re: Blue Warp Nacelles?

Can you believe its only 9 weeks till Sombrero Day

I know a lot of people will be celebrating on May 8th, but the 21st of May is the bigger day. I wonder how my Sombrero Day cards I'm going to get this year. Its not the same when my mother sends me one.

I hope I get some maracas this year.

What are people going to have for dinner? Guacamole and Tortilla Chips?

I can already feel that holiday spirit.

Ah, the thread that never dies. I really think sombreros should be provided when we finally get to see the film, it just won't feel right without them.

The port nacelle should be blue, and the starboard nacelle should be hot pink.

And the blue nacelle should be played by William Shatner.

Anyone ready with the photoshop?

Let's do some pre-vis.

Abrams!

Listen to the fans!!! This is what we want!!!!

I'm giving serious consideration to wearing a sombrero when I go to see the film.

Granted, there won't be anyone there who would get the joke, but it's the principle of the thing.

Then I hope you won't sit in front of me.

But you're right, wearing a sombrero at the premiere is obligatory.

I'll wear the one from my profile picture.
