Aye, Gene ... ergh ... Sam.
On second thought, everybody get rid of your Sombreroprise avatars but me. I don't want anyone to think that you guys contributed to it in any way.

If people e-mail me to ask about the origins of the design, I'll give you guys all the credit. Behind the scenes. Trust me.

Maybe I should order a GooglyMUSombreroPrise with custom shark fin on the secondary hull, before it's too late.
No, your Sombreroprise needs a penguin!
There is an explanation behind the shark fin request, but perhaps my penguin also needs a ceremonial sombrero.
Would the frickin' shark fin have a frickin' laser on top of it too?

Just for that, I switched back. Went with the Menorahsombreroprise in honor of "Yom Yerushalayim".

I think we should lobby to have it placed on the wall in one of those "All the different ships named Enterprise" displays. Maybe at Starfleet academy?

Someone should photoshop what that would look like, mixed in with all the "real" ships on the wall.
It needs photoshopping onto the rec deck wall in TMP. Fuck the NX-01
Naaah, put the NX-01 in there, too; I like it.

I can hear heads exploding already.

Different shark, but that does sound kinda cool.

And most shocking of all, none of the usual members of the Sourpuss Brigade came in to rain on the parade.
They are frightened off by the sheer look of the evil MU Sombreroprise.
Actually, I think it was the giant Phaser Menorah that had them shaking in their boots.

That thing is pretty damn menacing.

Nope, not quite! But I'm just a humble lurker with, alas, nothing to contribute. Maybe I could tell y'all about the questioning looks people unfamiliar with the Sombreroprise bandy around, or maybe you'd rather not know.
