You really ought to give Iowa a try.
I gave it 19 years, it was flat as can be and not much was going on, but I've never found nicer people than those you can find in rural Iowa. Maybe the reason they chose Iowa to build it is because they wanted a nice flat area with lots of nice people to built it?

Sounds like a good reason to me! I'm sure there's a scientific explanation that can be invented as to why flat land is useful, and employing nice people increases the good karma of a project. No wonder the Enterprise was such a great ship.
It's because the Enterprise will run on E-85!

Now that the Sombreroprise has been perfected... does anyone wanna try and show it to Shatner?

I don't know how untouchable he is, but even to try and email it to him. Or better still, somehow catch a reaction to him seeing it for the first time.

He's got a "warped" sense of humor, and I'd like to think he'd bust a gut laughing at him as the crazy pez dispensers.

Oh my....
when his mouth opens and closes it just kills me.

Something like this, perhaps:

I spent around 21 or 22 years there all told. It's on my birth certificate.

I am not in any hurry to return.
Being hunted by the state's cops is a big help there.

So we know there are going to be Star Trek Barbies, but do we know if they'll come with sombreros?

For most "Barbies" it takes expensive jewelry for THAT to happen.

(at the risk of sounding repetitive...)

Anyone ready with the photoshop?

Let's do some pre-vis.

It's hideous.

(The way the sombreros fit into the color scheme was a nice touch, though.)
