I kept imagining Patrice and Barney doing it.

It wasn't funny because Patrice is a big girl, it was funny because he's practically a collection of toothpicks.

The storyline with Seth Green was odd, it seems like they wrote it for Scooter, but the actor wasn't avaniable at the last minute.

I knew the relationship with Patrice was a ruse. Barney's "The Robin" plan is crazy in a way that fits his character. I'm glad the Barney/Robin romantic angst is finally over.

"Scooter" is played by NPH's real-life boyfriend.

Likewise, "Sandy Rivers" is Alyson Haningan's real life husband.

For the people who decry the recent season/s, I thought the last three episodes were all four stars out of four. And even in episodes that are not instant classics, there is always something hilarious and clever.

Those episodes were great, and the proposal was a really good play, I do hope that Ted has actually properly finally let go of Robin now.

The only thing I don't like is how Marshal and Lily are crazy people.

Now that Barney has proposed and Robin said yes, that implies that the wedding will happen in the season finale.
So the season ends on a cliffhanger with Ted meeting the mother.
Question is, will she be revealed to us, too?

Probably in the final scene of the show, yes. I would be really surprised if they showed more than that.

And I'm going on the assumption that this will be the last season. I just don't see it surviving sans Segel.
