Cho To Be A Father

John Cho finds impending fatherhood a bit daunting as he awaits the birth of his first child.

As reported by Zap2it, Cho and wife Kerri Higuchi are expecting a son later this year. He will be the couple's first child. Cho and actress wife Higuchi were married in 2006.

"I'm really excited and scared," Cho told People Magazine. "They're just going to give you the baby, and then you have to take it home. There aren't any doctors around telling you what to do. That thought is really scary to me.

A move to a new home is in the cards for the acting couple prior to the birth of their baby.

Cho has been keeping busy as he awaits fatherhood. He has recently made guest appearances in How I Met Your Mother and Ugly Betty. He has a starring role in Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay which opens later this month, and of course will be seen in Star Trek XI which opens in May of 2009.

Edit, dammit, noticed the "son" thing. Very well, bring out the pitchforks.

I suspect that his wife is not as frightened. She may be able to get help from her mom. That's what grandmothers are for!
