Anime Studio Pro 5

I have no idea if this is the right forum for this topic so feel free to move it if I've cocked up.

I bought (yes, actually paid money for a physical copy) Anime Studio 5 because I really want to get into 2d animation, but I'm finding the learning curve pretty damn steep.

Has anyone here ever used it? Got any tips?

I have no idea how or where to start building characters and most of the online tutorials I've found are pretty useless.

I don't have any problem with having this topic here Jim. I think you've probably come to exactly the right place to get an answer to your question. The only other forum I can think of where you might garner some additional information would be MISC and I don't have any problem with you posting it there as well.

I imagine that there are several online tutorials... even video tutorials.
