Yeah, relatively the same size, like planets, sure some are giants compared to the smaller ones but they still sorta fit together -I know what you're thinking b/c that's also the kind of imagery that fits in my mind... but what that animation reminds us is that there are several orders of magnitude in difference between our own and some of the bigger stars.

Assuming the upper size limit of 2100 solar radii, light would take more than 2.7 hours to travel around the star's circumference, compared to 14.5 seconds for the Sun.

According to this youtube video (which are all thoroughly scientific) it would take a passenger jet travelling at 900kph 1100 years to fly around its circumference. I believe that officially qualifies for the title of "Big".
