Well, in the UK, I think they had to wait for many months after "Z'ha'dum" for the next ep. IIRC, "Z'ha'dum" aired in the UK in September 1996 (a month before it aired in the US), and Season 4 didn't start until many months later.

Also, in the US schedule, the end of Seasons 1 and 2 were also aired just before the subsequent season started. I think in all those cases, the UK got the final eps of the season before the US did.

According to those same guide pages, the UK broadcast of "Z'ha'dum" occurred roughly a month earlier than in the US. However, they don't have UK broadcast date for "The Hour of the Wolf". Good point about the end/begin of S1/S2 and S2/S3, though I think that the S3/S4 delay would have been the cruelest to endure.

IIRC, the British broadcast each season as a continuous block with no breaks, then with huge breaks *between* the seasons, so I'm pretty sure they got "Hour of the Wolf" *well* after "Z'ha'dum".

Actually, no. I can easily understand wanting - if not needing - a break. Especially when the last episode was as intense as "Z'ha'dum" and with all of your varied interest. No worries. There is a reason that this thread has existed in a few iterations in the DS9 forum: the show has staying power. That 4th season will still be there when you're ready to get back into it.

And we'll still be here waiting for your impressions. Brings back old times for us 'old timers' who had to wait weeks, months...not just for new episodes but to find out IF there'd be new episodes.

And it was uphill both ways in blinding snowstorms and all we had was paper sacks for our feet...

Ok, so I finished Season 1 yesterday (I'll post my thoughts on the episodes) and quickly downloaded season 2 (Yeah, I download them - I'll buy them on DVD if I think they're good enough in the end, like I did Galactica). WHAT THE HELL?!, they build up what happened at the battle of the line over S1 then at the end. The new guy seems a lot cooler cause he can wreck the Minbaris shit.

What happened to Sinclair? Did the actor quit?

Does this mean they'll forget about Sinclair going back in time? Or B5 blowing up? His wedding? Also they could've left out the title sequence for the first episode of S2, it confused be a bunch that Sinclair wasn't in it, and they were talking about a great war.

It was a good start to Season 2, just disappointing execution.

Actor Michael o'Hare ( Sinclair ) quitted in good terms. Studio and production team had throght a more intense lead character required. O'Hare agreed. But don't worry. Sinclair is not forgotten. You shall see.

If anything producer JMS values , it is continuity of B5

I don't know how anyone could like ANYTHING related to Lochley better than ANYTHING related to Sheridan.

But then, I adore Sheridan, so that may 'perhaps' be coloring my opinion 'somewhat'.
