Task Force 86 - T.R.I.D.E.N.T

In a volatile area of space bordered by the Klingon's, Romulan's and the Federation itself - merely a stones throw away from the warmongering Gorn Hegemony, adding to the potential turmoil - Task Force 86, named T.R.I.D.E.N.T, stands ready to mount tactical, scientific, and clandestine operations within either enemy or neutral territory in order to oversee the safety of the Federation and the continued, though tenuous, stability of the entire region.

As critical units of this team which makes up the great trident, split into three prongs, or Task Groups, driven forward by the central command shaft that is Independents, these brave vessels, groups and crews seek additional brave, gifted and loyal individuals to bring the peace that this area so desperately needs after the events of the Dominion War and Star Trek: Nemesis.

The following are some basic details of each critical element of the Task Force which has elected to be a part of this recruitment drive.

Welcome to the new USS Endeavour!!!

This is the 10th year that the SIM has been running so happy birthday.

We are an RPG sim that is played via email, but there is a members section with a forum so you can chat freely to other crew members. Want to join?

The SIM has been around now since about 1997, which we are all very proud of. It has had three captains, all of which have been an asset to the ship.

This is currently the second ship in the SIM. The Endeavour-C was a Galaxy class ship that had to be set adrift after a collection of life forms embedded themselves in the ship. Starfleet Command ruled that the civilization life had a right to live and we had to give the ship up. Endeavour-D was given to us as a Prometheus class, which is one of the most advanced ships in the fleet. We are capable of going into a multi-vector attack mode, which means we can split into three inpidual ships capable of warp, more movement, and defending itself. Endeavour-D has holo-emitters on each deck for the IMH program and regenerative shielding.

We also have an advanced weapon called the Isokentic Cannon, but this can only be used when the ship is in one piece. We are also able to use the transporters while shields are up due to the unique design of the hull. The ship is equipped with a slipstream drive, which allows us to travel great distances in a fraction of the time. Warp is still the normal means of traveling though.

The current Captain is Ariba Sultan. we have a bunch of chief postions open and if your hurry you can join us for soem fun with the Q!!!

Star Trek: Horizons

Set in the mid-24th century, ten years after the return of the U.S.S. Voyager, this RPG takes place on the remote frontier of the Federation. Weeks away from any Starfleet reinforcements, a small fleet is actively seeking out new life and expanding the borders of Federation space with only their wits and skill to guide them.

Star Trek: Horizons uses a bulletin board system for gameplay, allowing characters to interact with each other on a more personal level than in Play by E-Mail RPGs. The game is moderated by Star Trek veterans to make sure that all technology used is canon, and that the storyline remains as faithful to the Star Trek universe as possible.

Come and join an amazing Star Trek experience that is fun and stimulating!

Join the USS Revenge

The USS Revenge is a development PBeM simulation in the 14th Fleet. A New Orleans class starship commanded by yours truly, the 14th Fleet follows a close to canon set of regulations based in the year 2392.

Currently we're fighting a border skirmish against an amphibian race, the Xeleucians, and I'm in need of a Chief of Security and a Chief Engineer. If you're interested, check out the link above, send me a PM or fire an email to

Continuing Voyages - The Adventure Continues! ACTIVE

Have you ever wanted to be a part of the Star Trek Experience? Have you ever wanted to explore strange new worlds with Captain Kirk and Mister Spock of the Enterprise or help Captain Picard and his crew to defuse a turbulent situation before it became an interstellar incident? Have you ever wanted to sit on the bridge with Captain Sisko and the crew of DS9 while they fought the good fight against the enemy or explore strange phenomenon while you're heading home like Captain Janeway and the crew of the Voyager? If you have answered yes to any of these questions then I have the perfect place for you. Welcome to Star Trek: Continuing Voyages.

Seven years as of September 2007, Continuing Voyages is a Star Trek PBEM set in the early 25th Century. In our series the Federation has just come out of a blood thirsty war with an enemy called the T'Saz and is finally back at peace. We're going back to the basics of the Federation and proceeding on a mission that has defined the Federation since the very beginning: exploring strange new worlds and civilizations. Even now the Enterprise is on its way to its next mission - and it promises to be an exciting one.

Three months ago the Enterprise crew had a run in with the intergalactic prankster Q. During their meeting the omnipotent member of the Continuum gave the crew the mission that would define them and the Federation for generations - or lead to the ultimate destruction of life as we know it should they fail. They have been asked to travel throughout the uncharted Wilds (an area beyond Cardassian Space) and locate a series of mysterious relics that will lead whomever finds them to the greatest power in the universe. Having acquired the first relic in their quest, the crew has gotten back on the road to find the next relic.

There is a problem though. It's called Mar Oscura - or (as the ancient Bajorans called it) the black death. A deep dark matter nebula filled with pockets of radiation that could result in death and destruction if touched, the next relic is hidden on a planet somewhere deep inside the nebula. Despite the risks the Enterprise and its crew have agreed to proceed to explore the dangerous region to recover the rune with the aid of the scoutship USS Aurora.

However, disaster has struck. Upon arrival the Enterprise crew has found the USS Aurora stricken inside the nebula and calling for help. Without the aid scoutship travel through the nebula is beyond dangerous - and recovery of the Aurora would risk the loss of the relic (especially with the growing strain on the planet in center of the nebula).

Can the Enterprise crew recover the relic and save the crew of the Aurora? Join us and you can make the difference!

On behalf of the crew of the Enterprise I thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope that you'll consider joining us and becoming a part of the adventure. There will always been a place for you here.

Star Trek: Vengeance is currently recruiting new members. Vengeance began in 2000 and has grown into an elaborate story of conflict, self discovery and intrigue. This isn't your ordinary SIM. Some focus on the action, dishing out story lines that are recycled plots from the various Trek series. Vengeance is a fresh and bold new approach to the familiar Star Trek universe. We're looking for a new Chief Medical Officer, Counselor, Helm Officer, and Tactical Officer. A brief description is below. Interested? Sign up today! VENGEANCE HOMEPAGE

In 2390, the Federation has chosen to move forward from the days of wars and battles by returning to its roots - exploring strange new worlds. With the Gamma Quadrant remaining unexplored, the powers that be have sent one vessel into the quadrant on a five-year mission. But this is anything but ordinary. This adventure is more than a story of a ship, it's about those who have left their homes in search of strange new worlds and civilizations. Each person has their own story, their own struggle, and their lives cross with one another. While completing their mission, they will be discovering something far more valuable - themselves.

Star Trek: Vengeance s a long-standing play by E-mail group. It is a character-driven, continuing plot adventure based in the Star Trek universe. We are currently recruiting new writers who are interested in creating dynamic characters, being involved in exciting, fresh plots, and focusing on characters more so than techno-babble. Just one post a week is required for participation! This Star Trek is like none other; think of Star Trek blended with TV's Dallas, Dynasty , with a big-dose of science fiction. Interested? Join us today.

Based on the universe as introduced in Star Trek as created by Gene Roddenberry and the long running fan-written series Star Trek: Vengeance.

Star Trek: Redux

Star Trek Redux is currently in need of a player to take on the role of Mr. Spock in a reimagined TOS era Trek RPG.

Player for this character will have to pass an audition post and be capable of meeting a bi-weekly posting requirements. We would like someone who is committed, enjoys writing for the character and interacting with other players in engaging storylines. If this sounds like it might be you, please take a look at our website.

Please note that this game is being played in the spirit of the reimagining being done in the new film (with less crappy casting decisions ). This is an adult game.
I don't have a problem with some people, I have a problem with ALL people. I don't discriminate.

Isolated, vulnerable, outnumbered, outrun…

These are just some of the things that will be experienced by the crew of the USS Discovery, a Nova class ship assigned to Task Force 9 in the Gamma Quadrant.

During our missions, we will frequently be many days travel from the closest Starfleet presence. We do the exploring, we make the First Contacts, and we do the grunt work. There’s no room for glamour and ceremony, and if things get dangerous, we’ll be the first to know. There are still pockets of Dominion power out there, and they don’t all take the peace treaty seriously.

The Discovery doesn’t have a huge amount of weaponry, our maximum speed is warp 8, and our shields can only take a few direct hits before failing. Things can get very messy very quickly, and yet we’re on the front line. Not the front line of any war, but the front line of exploration.

Which is more testing?

You be the judge.

Many positions are still needed. To apply, just go to:

The best way to predict the future is to invent it

The Dominion war was one of the most catastrophic periods in Federation history, at the end of the war the Federation had lost more starships and personnel then it had in any other conflicts.

Now, almost ten years after the end of the war, the Capella is one of the many starships charged with the exploration of the Gamma quadrent, the Dominion's home.

Named after the brightest star in the Auriga constellation, the Capella is on a mission of peace and exploration, to upholds the principals that the Federation was founded upon and to protect those that cannot protect themselves.

If you are interested in being a part of this adventure, why not have a look at our website (

Looking for a new home?

Welcome to the Jericho System.

The Jericho System is the home of Star Station Orion, recently created by the Federation, on the frontier of Federation territory leading into the Beta Quadrant. It consist of a small station, two space dock facilities and two starships. It's in orbit around the colony of Jericho.

The colony on Jericho is a hotbed of opportunity. Jericho offers a fresh start for some and a place to strike it rich to others. Jericho Colony was created in 2370. Efforts to colonize Jericho suffered during the Dominion War and conflicts that followed.

The young colony consists of a Federation detachment and a Starbase to help the colony along, but most colonists look forward to the day where they become an independent planet with membership to the Federation.

Orion stress the importance of the Federation civilians more than the usual Starfleet RPG's. And is a proud member of FORGE Fleet. If you are interested in joining or have any questions at all, email me . We are looking for anyone interested in writing. Past role playing experience is not required and neither is a deep knowledge of Star Trek. Come with an open mind and a love for literature and we will welcome you with open arms.

Please check out our log archives. They can be found in our database. The database is located in the starbase section of the site.

Re: Looking for a new home?

Any people want to start a Dominion war rpg?

I like Trek PBEM(play by email in yahoo group) but I could never find one that took place during the Dominion war. Would any people be interested in starting up something like that with me? Preferably someone who is or has experience from being a Captain who can push the sim forward since that is probably the hardest thing to find. I'm a good rp'er but really not someone who is good at pushnig people etc :/

I'd mainly want us to be a big ship, like a Galaxy or a Steam runner, not a Defiant class since the sim in my opinion should have exploration missions etc too, like most pbems.

We'd do our own missions etc of course and that would be the main thing, but maybe time to time take part in missions/ battles that we saw or heard of in the show, visit DS9, Bajor, maybe even the Gamma Quadrant.. everything is possible.
Last Christmas I gave you my heart but the very next day you gave it away
This year to save me from tears I'll give it to someone special

Re: Looking for a new home?

MsKim: I could see you as the Captain of a Loknar-Class vessel, deployed as a Federation Border Service vessel.

While you're out keeping an eye on the Federation (& some of the A.Q. Alliance-members' borders,) while the Jem Hadar are around, you find yourself caught in the middle of some bizarre circumstances.

Maybe an Event Horizon-Class (Klingon/Federation B.O.P.) vessel. Designed during the Dominion War by Alliance Engineers, some from the "Chalchaj 'qmey", or "Children Of Heaven" (from the Shatnerverse books,) on the planet Chal. A world populated by Klingon/Human/Romulan hybrid "augments".
