You are on the bridge of the Soverign Class Vessel USS Intervision enroute to investigate the disappearance of the USS Aristotle, a science vessel and several Federation Listening Posts in Sector 1356 on the edge of explored Federation Space. The alert panels around the bridge glow a crimson red--you can feel the tension of the unknown in the air. Suddenly the emergency communication chennels jump to life, originating from Tholian Territory indicating they are under attack by an unknown species and their forces are attempting to regroup and fall back. What do you think? What do you feel?

Thirty minutes later, the Intervision discovers the broken, shattered hull of what was once the Excelsior Class USS Aristotle. You're shocked at the sight of the destruction of the ship as it floats in the vast void of deep space. Suddenly the tactical officer reports a Tholian vessel sending out an SOS on all channels and frequencies as it crosses into Federation Territory. They report being pursued by one of the unknown alien vessels.

The captain issues an order to intercept at maximum warp. Moments later, the Intervision drops out of warp as does the Tholian and alien vessels. The Intervision is able to transport the Tholian crew aboard. The alien vessel then indicates to release the Tholians or risk war with the Meskarian Empire.

The Captain declines, learning the Tholians would be slaughtered if they are handed over to the Meskars.

The bridge shakes hard and you are thrown to the deck as several consoles overload from the Meskar Battlehsip's weapons.

An Excerpt from our last mission:

Admiral Gallagher arrived at Reeves' quarters at 0600 that morning for breakfast with his friends one last time. That afternoon, the Pearl Harbor would depart for the Ferengi border with Talir in command. He would remain behind on the Starbase to help unearth the traitors.
His old friend welcomed him in, where Talir had already replicated a traditional Vulan dish.
"I brought the orange juice," Gallagher said, setting a brimming caraffe on the table. "What is that smell, Reeves?"
"That's our Vulcan friend's cooking," the engineer answered under his breath.
"It would be logical for you to withhold your judgement until you have tried it, Commander," the all-hearing first officer remarked. He pulled three steaming plates of brown mush out of the replicator and set them on the table. Cautiously, Gallagher sat and ate a spoonful of Talir's mush.
"It doesn't taste like anything," Gallagher said after a few moments of careful chewing. "What's the point of eating something which provides no--"
"Emotional stimulation?" Talir inquired. He took a bite and awaited his superior's answer.
"You got me there," Gallagher admitted. "I suppose, that for you, that is the point."
"What did you expect?" Reeves said, pushing his plate away. He then reached for a shelf behind him and returned with a bottle of bright green fluid. "Here's something to wash it down with." He poured Gallagher a glass.
"Isn't it a little early to be drinking?" the admiral asked with a smile as he took it.
"I thought of all people, an Irishman would understand: it's never too early. Besides, it's synthahol. No permanent damage," Reeves said. He took a swig and made a face. Gallagher did the same.
"Is there a problem, gentlemen?" Talir asked.
"What is it?" Gallagher managed to say in spite of the gag reflex.
Reeve's looked at the bottle and sniffed it's contents. "It is..." He sniffed again. "It is..." He took another drink, scowled, and then stared at the bottle again for a moment. "It is green."
Gallagher suggested they move on to scrambled eggs.

The newly-upgraded Alexandria-Class starship construction facility, (located in the Likara System,) has been re-designated "Starbase 666" or Hell's-Gate Station.

A daily posting RPG, Enterprise celebrated its 6th year anniversary in January 2007 and is nearing its 12,000th post. Don’t let this fool you though, the Enterprise ’s mission is only beginning. The USS Discovery is an Nebula Class starship built and completed at Utopia Plantia in 2369. She was built in the midst of a period of optimism and expansion for the Federation, but after a short matter of time her role would drastically change from one of exploration to security and warfare. She would soon establish herself as a veteran of the Dominion Wars and forever prove her worth in blood and valor.

Now the year is 2384, with the war over for more than a decade, peace has been restored... to a degree. Though the drums of war are no longer beating, threats still exist just over the horizon. The once proud Romulan Empire lays fractured in the midst of a power vacuum after the Shinzon Affair leaving a hole in the succession line, its flames threaten to grow and spill over to federation borders. The rebuilding of the broken Cardassian Empire produces more than enough problems for Federation Alliance Occupational Forces with pirating disrupting humanitarian efforts and reconstruction being inhibited by political infighting between Cardassian civilian and military factions. However some positives have grown from the ashes of war, Starfleet has once again restarted its original mandate of exploration and diplomacy. As time passes by, more and more ships phase out from patrol and defensive duties and back to the exploration journeys. The Discovery is one of those ships maintained and operated to fit the needs of a rebuilding fleet both in exploration and defensive roles. Assigned to the 9th Fleet, and detached to the 107th Joint Response Group, the Discovery is manning her station and carrying the banner for the future of the United Federation of Planets.

Federation Space: Where new legends are born

Welcome to Federation Space, a Star Trek Role-Playing game set 37 years after the events portrayed in ST:TNG, STS9, and ST:Voyager. Players assume the roles of Star Fleet Officers and enlisted members stationed on ships and bases throughout Federation Space.


Federation Space has over one hundred members, and is always looking to recruit more. We currently have 9 ships, each with ten or more crew, and three Starbases. We are expanding, and testing out our first Player Run Starbase.

The air on the bridge is heavy with smoke, which every few second glows red from the alert klaxons. Security and Marines are busy fighting four intruders known as Spectres--a sub-species of the Meskars. The dead and blood litter the corridors and most are afraid that they may never even see death coming. The Intervision has taken moderate damage during their first encounter with the Mesakr vessel, which has pursued the Intervision into a nebula.

Who are you? Are you an engineer assigned to conduct repairs? A security officer or marine working together to fight off the Spectres? Are you a science office, working to help come up with a defense to the Meskars weapons and defenses? Maybe you're a Marine Fighter Pilot on alert status, ready to launch at a moment's notice.
