I'm having a bit of a problem. I know some of you have said that you make and host avatars; I've tried e-mailing several of you, but I keep getting my e-mails sent back to me. If someone could make this picture (http://ffmedia.ign.com/filmforce/ima...all-deboer.jpg) into an 80x80 avatar for me and host it somewhere, and then contact me at Bensisko3@aol.com, I'd greatly appreciate it. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks.

In the past we have had issues with trolls creating accounts solely for the purpose of causing problems, including using offensive avatars. So, we enforce a 100 post minimum before you can select an avatar. Seems like a pretty good precaution to me.

I don't believe we check every single one, but normally if there is an issue, another poster or at least one of the mods will catch it and bring it to the attention of the administrators.

Speedis is a good free one. You don't even have to sign up, but they're not as reliable as people would want to think.

Well, just guessing, I bet you would save the file to the Files area, and then you would just have to put in the URL of the location of your av so that TBBS can use it.
