I'm sorry, but calling out "She has eyes?" as embarrassing is hardly puritanical bullshit.

Dunno if I'd ever know how it feels from the other side, but something tells me that if I were a woman, and I was treated with "She has eyes?" for putting on a swimsuit, I'd be all like "Fuck it, I am going puritanical this week", and see nothing bullshit about it.

It does make one sound like they've never seen a swimsuit before...

Clearly.

(Spoiler alert: I can tell by your lack of reply to my original comment. )

I do wonder how the fellows who comment consistently on the size of a woman's tatas would feel if someone was basing their opinion of THEM on the size of their penis?

Thanks for reminding me why I usually avoid this thread. Way to make the forum a great place for women!

I'd be happy to answer...as soon as one of the subjects of these threads explains logically why she joined a profession that practically guarantees she'd be scrutinized that way if she doesn't want to be scrutinized that way.

Perhaps a better question would be: "Gosh, why is it that the only time any women comment in these threads it's to tell us how uncomfortable it makes them feel?"

So, what you're saying is, she's asking for it?

Look, it's one thing to appreciate the beauty of a woman but these threads have devolved pretty sharply into some pretty disgusting comments on the subject female.

Largely judging these women purely by their looks. I mean you don't see how offensive it might be to women to say you're more looking at their body than their eyes?

Just because a woman is attractive and has a profession where her looks are scrutinized to the tiniest detail doesn't mean we have to take advantage of that and go ahead and act like cavemen who're just short hitting her on the head with a club and dragging her back to camp.

I really, really, don't understand how people can think what the conversation degrades to in this threads *might* be something people, especially women, might have a problem with. Hell, the very premise of the thread is pretty damn degrading since it's pretty much just saying, "Rate this woman on how fuckable she is." Because what else are women for? Amiright, guys?

Why should she have to explain anything? So its all her fault?

Another point to consider: Admiral2, why must it be "practically guaranteed" she be "scrutinized" this way?

Or, if it must be "practically guaranteed," ( ) is that any kind of excuse for grown men to act like this? Is it a free pass for just anyone to make such distasteful remarks?

Even more important a question: whether it's "practically guaranteed" or not, are you really suggesting that this kind of "scrutiny" you are defending should be the only kind of attention an actress or performer in this capacity warrants? Is it really your position that how a woman looks is the only merit (or even the most important) of value she brings to the world?

As some of you know I do some modeling on the side. Yet I'd still find it insulting if guys did nothing but discuss the size of my boobs or whatever. It's funny how the intricacies of both tone and content of comments are lost on some people.

Oh, duh, and I have eyes, too.
