Re: Does Voyager end up in its original universe?

lol I just saw "Relativity" today!
The only problem I have with it is when
VOY5 Janeway with her short hair,
goes back to VOY1 & gives B'elanna a face-to-face order without
B'elanna saying something like: "What happened to your hair?"

You don't ask the captain about their hair. You just don't.

I had always wondered about Sisko.

If it is shaved after season 3, can you imagine Kasidy lathering up his head every morning and taking to that dome with a straight razor?

Wifely duties?

Sonic shower sonics it off on command.

What I want in future grooming is those nails that change colour each time you touch them from Total Recall. That would be super fun.

Not after all those expensive "Caretaker" reshoots. TPTB might insist on reshooting all of seasons 1 and 2 with her new shorter 'do.

Re: Does Voyager end up in its original universe?

JUST imagine if we had 2 or 3 versions of those seasons to acquire through varying means.. and there would be hair madness and screenshots of every scene with every style and it would very good.

So I just boggled my mind imagining a Living Witness/AU Voyager series.

What's to Boggle?

The EMH in Living Witness was lying.

Re: Does Voyager end up in its original universe?

I watched the first two episodes of season 7 Buffy last night (NO SPOILERS) and I wanted to cry because it was so bad. It was like everyone had a lobotomy during the season break, the direction, the writing, the acting.. everyone is even talking at half the pace. I felt like I was having some awful lesson in Nothing Ever Lasts.

Re: Does Voyager end up in its original universe?

It takes a while for the season to get it's shit together, and even then...

You might want to look for a Buffy comic book series (8 issue mini series.) called "Fray".

It's set 200 years in the future and tangentially relevant to season Seven.

Re: Does Voyager end up in its original universe?

Oh I'll be doing all the comic'ing of Buffy when I'm finished Buffy for sure.

Okay I'm glad to hear it warms up after a bit.

Re: Does Voyager end up in its original universe?

And then it ENDS!

You see, Slayers are not supposed to live this long.

In at 16, out at 18.

A nice little system.

Good vs evil.

Natural balance.

Stupid Buffy refuses to stay dead, and puts the system out of whack.

You didn't like "The Zeppo" for Xander building?

(Good lord that was season 3!)

I consider it the closest Voyager ever got to doing a Mirror Universe show. The actors all seemed to be having great fun.

Someone edited it into this:

Re: Does Voyager end up in its original universe?

DON'T SPOIL ME RANDOM READERS I AM ON SEASON 6 THANK YOU

Yeah I liked The Zeppo but the thing is the doucheyness kept resurfacing. He became more and more competent in the regular world, successful with construction etc.. and more competent in the demon fighting world as shown in The Zeppo. But he was still a whiny douche whenever there was a gap and it became time for Xander to say something in the script and I think that was lazy and unpleasant. Constant obnoxious hostility directed towards Spike and obnoxious sniping regularly directed at Anya. Spike is out there helping them fight something and Xander has to be a man and verbally bash him non stop which makes him look like the weenie reject he opened with. That he has been rapidly (via crash watching) getting bigger and broader and fatter and fuller and yet still sounds like that immature weenie is disconcerting.

If you had to work with someone that was really good at their job but no one particularly liked and you had another coworker peppering the work day with verbal abuse and insults at the disliked guy you would think this coworker was extremely immature. That is what Xander is like but in some ways no one takes him seriously enough to even stop it other than yelling at him to shut up when it wastes too much time.

I remember Mal insulting Inara's client in Shindig, though the client turned out to be a grade A abusive asshole Mal still looked immature and petulant doing it.

Buffy abusing Spike is more interesting in that it highlights how much like him and those she fights she really is. Maybe seeing that kind of behavior gave Xander a feeling of permission, "we beat on this guy, YEEEEAH".
