LOL I see. That fascination can backfire, though. I once showed a friend a sample from her favourite swimming pond with lots of zooplancton in it. When I met her again, a few weeks later, and asked her whether she had been swimming she replied she'd never in her life go into that pond again because "it's crawling with hairy monsters!"

That's what I was going to say. It's hard to avoid hairy monsters.

A neat coincidence that the top 3 contenders all have red bars.
"Vote for me and end red dominance."

Congratulations to selina and Timelord Victorious for the joint win! Great job you two, and to all the rest of our entrants as well.

Sadly, the fact that you two are tied means this impasse can only be settled one way: THUNDERDOME! Two members enter, one member leaves!

I guess you two can consult with each other on the next contest, or one can pass the torch to the other.

Congrats, selina and Timelord. Well done.

And thanks for the votes, Earthlings. You will be spared when the Hexagon Aliens arrive.

I don't mind to do the next contest together. We will have to discuss this briefly.

Re: VOTE! Misc. Avatar Contest - Patterns of Nature

Congratulations selina and Timelord Victorious and thanks to those who voted for me as well.

It would be neat to have two topics (avatars) for the next contest and whoever gets the most total votes (for their two avatars) wins the contest.

Thanks everyone for the votes.
Surprised to win this of all contest, the competition was brutal with a difficult theme.

Already discussing a new theme with selina.

Stay tuned.
