Arkham Origins: Cold, Cold Heart DLC

Anybody playing this? I know a lot of people had bug issues with Arkham Origins, but I still enjoyed the game quite a bit (even though it wasn't as good as the other two).

Cold, Cold Heart takes place a week after Origins on New Years Eve, and Mr. Freeze is causing all sorts of trouble. I'm about 2 hours into the game, and I'm having a great time.

I enjoyed BAO a lot more than I thought I did at the time. I also haven't played a game in weeks. I think I'll download this and give it a shot.

It was fun! A nice little Batman diversion for my day off.

I think I want to replay Origins, too. I enjoyed it quite a bit the first time, but I was thrown off by how similar it was to Arkham City.

Although many consider it a subpar Batman Arkham experience, Arkham Origins was one of the better games last year when you think about it. Other than GTA V and The Last of Us, what else was really good last year?

Re: Arkham Origins: Cold, Cold Heart DLC

Origins was a solid game with a great story. I know some people experienced bug issues, but I didn't have a single problem. The only thing that made it "subpar" in my book is that it utilized the exact same game map as Arkham City, so it felt more like a continuation of that game rather than a game unto itself.

It still totally satisfied my Batman needs, though. Going forward, I'd love to see more DLC stories like "Cold, Cold Heart." They've got a big open world, lots of empty buildings, and a huge rogue gallery to choose from. One of these downloadable missions every few months or so would be a lot of fun.

I do appreciate the sadism in Cold, Cold Heart funnelling players into My Alibi, one of the most notoriously save-ruining areas of Origins. I'd honestly have been happier going back into the goddamn Steel Mill after the wasted time that nightclub has eaten up and spat out.

Saints Row IV, Assassin's Creed 4, Super Mario 3D World, Tomb Raider, DmC, Gone Home, Papers, Please ...
