elite force custom resolution help!

Ok so i recently discovered that using the nivida control panel you can force aa and filtering which makes elite force look a lot better with no jagged lines! But i also read that using elite forces config file you can force the native resolution of your moniture if its not included in the options. So my question is i want to force my native screen resolution which is 1680x1050 but would this make it look better or worse?

Re: elite force custom resolution help!

No matter how much filtering and antialiasing you use, a game can only go so far. In EF's case, I highly doubt it would look better in a resolution higher than 1024x768. The game was made 14 years ago after all. That being said, there are some high def texture packs floating out there somewhere that can make it look decent at a higher resolution.
