Re: Transformers Age of Extinction Pre-release thread

Anyone here think that Grimlock being a horned t-rex (probably an element drawn from Asian dragons) is part of Hasbro's attempts to market this better in Asia?

This may be a new trilogy now, despite the fact that Wahlberg said the opposite weeks ago.

He clearly says "stand-alone." Wish they would agree on this!

It is all the same until Bay & Paramount no longer have anything to do with it.

The official Facebook page has 3 new images from the movie up.

I wonder if Optimus Prime's sword has its own special name. A couple toys refer to it as the "Sword of Judgment".

I thought it was the Star Saber.

Those are some pretty pinwheels on Bumblebee. I wonder if he transforms into a bike with tassels on the handlebars and baseball cards in the spokes this time.

I wonder if Optimus Prime's sword has its own special name.
The Hound does not approve.

The scenes with Optimus riding Grimlock are pretty badass, as is the new guy with the laserface.

Re: Transformers Age of Extinction Pre-release thread

Oh heck this trailer is epic.

I wonder what the Dinobots' backstory is. We already have the star harvester, Jetfire and the Seekers, Megatron, Shockwave, and Sentinel Prime aboard the Ark all hidden on Earth and/or the Moon prior to present day. So where have the Dinobots been?

I still want a close-up of Drift.

Doesn't look big enough or powerful enough to be the Star Saber. And Prima's Star Saber that you posted a link to has only one design which this "Sword of Judgment" doesn't resemble.

That bit about controlled Transformers make em sound like the original Takara from back in the bygone days...

Early reviews are in, they're mostly positive at this point.

Also judging by what's mentioned in the reviews:
