Re: why did Pine have his hair styled the wrong way in STID?

Just watched Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit , in the opening flashback he's got it styled exactly TOS Kirk style. I think its a toup though as its longer and the rest of the film its crew cut real hair.

Anyway for ST3 he should grow it longer and have it styled the Kirk TOS way like the opening to JR:SR

Either that or his stylist was killed onboard the Kelvin.
Another way in which the new universe is superior to the old.

in STID he has his hair styled/parted on the opposite side to ShatKirk in TOS (unless you count those mirror 'reverse' reaction shots in certain episodes) and the opposite way to how Pine had it in ST09 (which was almost as if to foreshadow the classic Kirk forelock over the forehead style of TOS kirk, albeit bushier more movie Kirk)

its even more surprising when you take into account Pine has it styled the correct Kirk way in real life! (check out all the interviews premieres etc to promote STID) In fact ive never seen him with it swept over the other side before STID or since...so there has to be some sort of reason he had it like that in this film.

I'm sure he took great care in styling it before putting it on that morning.
