Wonderful. Thank you for sharing that.

n-universe (comic books, novels, video games, any future TV show, fan fiction) too.
Ummmm.... no. Well in any future movies and TV shows, yes, given that they can't get Ramis to play Egon. Same could go for any future games as Ramis cannot voice Egon (but they can always get another voice actor who sounds like him.) The comics also don't need Ramis to portray Egon.

The image is just a nice little homage/tribute to Ramis.

...... Showing his friends storing him in their containment unit which I'm guessing isn't a very pleasant experience. (Certainly wasn't in the cartoon.)
IMDB says that Maurice LaMarche played Spengler in the cartoons as well, if they ever wanted to make more.....

Very saddened by this news. I always liked Egon and he had some of the funniest lines. RIP

The thing that gets me is, Egon was the only one to lead a younger generation of characters in the Extreme series because of his knowledge of ghosts!

Re: RIP Harold Ramis

I loved Harold's positive attitude in that YouTube video. Always smiling, always stressing the possbilities. You can tell he had a great deal of affection for the films he was involved with both in front of and behind the camera and it shows.

I recently watched a documentary on the making of Caddyshack. It was really great to hear Ramis talk about the filming as well as the cast and crew. Sounds like it was a pretty wild time.

He's expressed his feelings, via lawyer, about the loss. It *is* a shame the two has such a falling out but, really, like his "Groundhog Day" character Murray is kind of a prima donna jackass.
He may be a prima donna jackass, but he's also doing the best work of his life and career in those movies with Wes Anderson and any other independent director around. The thing is (to me) he didn't seem interested in doing any more Ghostbusters movies anyway, judging by the way he was in the second movie (not rearing the uniform, wooing Sigourney Weaver at a restaurant above while the rest of the guys are in a deep old subway tunnel below looking for mood slime.) As it was, and is now, I think it's a question not of if there will be a reboot of the franchise, but when.

And props to Bill for giving an unscripted shout-out to Harold at the Oscars. He did look genuinely emotional and not just saying the words just because basically everyone was expecting him to.

Re: RIP Harold Ramis

That was a classy thing to do and I smiled a wide grin when he did it. One of the best moments of the entire evening.
