Sarah Carter: Babe of the Week #22 (July 2014)

Sarah Carter
("Falling Skies," "Shark," Final Destination 2)
Thumbs up= Thumbs down= Thumbs sideways=

Sarah Sanguin Carter was born in Toronto and raised in Winnipeg. She attended Balmoral High School where she was a dancer and took part in school plays such as The Sound of Music, A Chorus Line and The Wizard of Oz in which she played Dorothy. She trained as a dancer with the prestigious Royal Winnipeg Ballet and also competed around the world as a member of the Canadian Debate Team, where she was named one of the top three public speakers in the world. After a year abroad following her high school graduation (which included time spent in India and Cuba working at an orphanage), Carter enrolled in Toronto’s Ryerson Theatre School where she honed her craft and began taking her talent seriously.

Carter made her professional debut in 2000 on an episode of the Canadian TV drama "Cold Squad." Her big break came in 2003 with a regular role on the short-lived WB series "Black Sash" and a part in the film Final Destination 2, which led to roles on "Smallville" and "Numbers." She also has a music career, releasing the solo album Before Three in 2009, and is currently part of the duo SanguinDrake.
"Falling Skies" opens in the chaotic aftermath of an alien attack that has left most of the world completely incapacitated. In the months since the initial invasion, the few survivors have banded together outside major cities to begin the difficult task of fighting back. Each day is a test of survival as citizen soldiers work to protect the people in their care while also engaging in an insurgency against the occupying alien force. At the center of the series is Tom Mason (Noah Wyle), a Boston history professor whose family was torn apart. Tom must put his extensive knowledge of military history to the test as one of the leaders of the Boston-born resistance movement known as the 2nd Mass.

I honestly think she's one of the most gorgeous women ever. She's hot, she's cute plus I love her voice. Thumbs up.

Definitely Thumbs Up. Not only is she cute and talented, but she's the most authentically Bostonian character on Falling Skies. I felt like I knew her the first time she was on screen.

Oh my yes. I first saw her in a short martial arts series called, I think, Black Sash. Those great big beautiful eyes knocked me out immediately.

She has eyes? I was paying more attention to her fantastically fit body.

Anyway, thumbs definitely up!

She was great in DOA: Dead or Alive. It's a pretty fun movie.
